Day 67 4 WEEKS OUT!!!!! omg.

Officially 4 weeks out!

Holy crap.

Time has FLEW by… getting a little nervous.. but that’s alright.. right? FUCCCCCCCK!

No big deal. I got this && if I don’t, ol the fuck well, I’ll have a badass bikini for summer haha. No seriously though, I think with all the cardio and actually giving a shit Ill pull through just fine.

So what does 4 weeks out entail?

  • No preworkout. Awesome.
  • No carbonation.
  • Fruits in AM hours only.
  • Red Meat only on weekends (first 2 weeks).
  • Water, Tea only! (Crystal Light alternatives ok, for first 2 weeks).
  • Carbs only after leg workouts (possibly back as well).

So that’s not too bad 🙂 I still have my condiments!!!! haha.. well for now.. everything kind of disappears 2- 1/2 weeks out.. 😦

The Food Log

630am Protein Shake (Dymatize, Maca Powder, Coconut Shreds, Water, Ice, Blend).

145pm Finished 5th cup of tea, and 1 bottle of water.

So today was alright. Didn’t start the morning off right, but everything happens for a reason. My boss texted me the day before and asked if I could be at his house at 730am to drop his kids off at school. No big deal. Besides me needing to wake up at 5am just to get a morning workout in AND be on time to drive all the way to his house. Well I didn’t get up. But I was all ready to go get his kids. I start driving and as I am about to pull into his driveway (he lives about 30-40min away), he calls and says he needs me the next morning, not today. Awesome. Well… okay. It was no ones fault but my own that I didn’t wake up this morning (but I did two workouts yesterday so lets just pretend to flip flop them), but that was a complete waste of time. Whatever. No big deal. The day isn’t close to being over, but I am super excited to work out and KILL it.  I have homework to do tonight, and I need to get to bed at a decent hour. I don’t think I will be going out Mon-Fri anymore, even if it is just to chill. I need all the hours of the day that I can get. 4 weeks. That’s it. Its gonna FLY by and I need to keep up.

Had an awesome work out. Cant wait to hit it harder tomorrow 🙂 and this weekend. ;0

Btw bought a Timeflies ticket AWHILE ago, and its today and I am not going. 😦 too stressed out.. too sick and I really don’t want to miss class……(I’m such  nerd).

So yes that means I skipped work today. I still feel like complete shit. I have NO idea what is wrong with me. I am use to the whole acid reflux thing but this is going on two SOLID days, and well see if its going to be day 3. I stayed up pretty late because I couldn’t get to sleep. So total of 4 work outs missed. No big deal. Tomorrow I am 4 weeks out. One solid month. Now its getting serious. I WILL do my best/hardest. I will make up for those lost workouts but how intense my work outs get. I am giving up carbonation (no energy drinks or my  love of diet coke), just water tea and some propel (for at least the first two weeks). No more pre workout, and no fruits (only in the morning). Later (depending how I look) the list will continue on things I can’t eat lol. The last week/ week and 1/2 will be the hardest, distilled water, grapefruit, only chicken and tuna, and asparagus. WAMPPPPPPPP So that is a little update on everything. I have been super stressed with the deciding of the bikini, but its done and its being made and now that rock is off my shoulders. I just need to focus on feeling the workouts and spicing up the intensity a bit. ALOT of plyo work will be done, and stretching. For some reason I am enjoying stretching a WHOLE lot (mostly when my legs are sore and I have cardio to do, you feel the pull and it feels great)…. will add to this but its only 1130 and usually I don’t have time to explain a bit but here you go.. Tomorrow I will make everything more formal just in case people are following biweekly.

5 weeks out. kinda getting scared shitless because I don’t even have my suit. Yes that means I haven’t even ordered it. So yes that means I will pay an extra $50 to have it shipped and made sooner.

Life of a procrastinator = just paying more $$$ in the end lol. I swear it happens every time.. like when I decide not to pay my speeding tickets on time….. ohhhhhhhh will I ever learn. ALRIGHT well listen up PLEASEEEEEEE to who ever is reading this I BEG OF YOU please comment with your opinion. I am going to measure and put the final touches into making my bikini. I am so up in the air with what color I want that I am stressing out to the max. Not really (because I could always be more stressed lol), but this isn’t a good feeling. The only thing keeping me from breaking down is, as much as I don’t care for my first suit, I still have it. So all else fails, I do have a back up. So tomorrows post will be dedicated to my bikini choices.

So ever since it hit me that my show is around the corner, I have been stepping it up a notch. I am going to start my morning cardio tomorrow.. oh joy, and hopefully just keep leaning out. My legs are still pretty big (still have my ass though, so that is WONDERFUL), just need to stay positive 🙂 Not to mention I have a few tests this week, 2 classes, a 12 page paper due, a 40+ hour job and a thought process that lasts a solid 30 seconds. To think I am still sane. Ha.

This weekend will be a little light on the blogging, again tomorrow will be dedicated to my bikini, and hopefully get to relax a little. Enjoy the holidays and WORK OUT! & EAT CLEAN and here is some motivation and an AWESOME recipe to try.. gosh I am so darn thoughtful…. 😉

Buttery Apple Streusel Oat Squares

Adapted from Ashley’s apple toppingStrawberry Oat Squares, and pumpkin apple streusel muffins.

Ingredients:

For Oat Base:

  • 1.5 cups regular oats
  • 1 cup whole-grain Kamut flour (or whole wheat pastry flour or white/whole wheat)
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup Sucanat sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 1 chia egg (1 tbsp chia seeds+ 4 tbsp warm water, mixed well and set aside for 5 mins)
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp Earth Balance, melted
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp almond milk

For Buttery Apple Mixture:

Ingredients:

  • 3 granny Smith Apples, peeled, thinly sliced, chopped (makes approx 3 cups, chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Earth balance or butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or brown rice syrup
  • 1 tbsp Sucanat (or brown sugar)
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Pinch sea salt

Apple Streusel Topping:

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Sucanat (or brown sugar)
  • 1 tbsp Earth Balance or butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions: Preheat oven to 350F. Line a square pan (I used a 9×9) with parchment paper and oil the sides of the pan and base. In a medium sized pot, add the apple mixture ingredients (chopped apples, Earth Balance, brown rice or maple syrup, spices). Heat over low, stirring frequently for about 10 minutes, until the apples soften and mixture thickens up.

In a small bowl, mix the chia or flax egg and set aside. In a large bowl, mix the oat base dry ingredients: oats, flour, Sucanat/brown sugar, baking soda, salt. In a small bowl, mix the melted earth balance, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla, and chia egg. Stir well.

Add the wet mixture to the dry and mix well, using hands if necessary. Set aside 1/2 cup of the oat base mixture if desired. Pour the oat mixture onto the square pan and press down with fingers. Use a pastry roller to smooth out if desired. Pour on cooked apple mixture and smooth out. Make the apple streusel topping by mixing all ingredients together with a fork or fingers. Now sprinkle on the reserved 1/2 cup oat mixture and apple streusel topping and sprinkle over top.

Bake at 350F for approximately 30 minutes. Allow to fully cool for at least 30-40 minutes before gently removing from pan. You can firm them up in the fridge before slicing into squares or bars. The bars also freeze very well (I place them into a container in the freezer).

Was a good day overall. Thought work was going to be a lot worse (because there has been some minor drama) but it was all good. Ate on time, no overeating or eating because I was bored. I had a long day though… like mentioned in the beginning of the blog, I had my 9-5 (which is usually 8-6 if you include commute).. class at 630ish till 9 which was actually pretty interesting, then I got a burst of energy which was awesome, and headed home to change, got in the car and got SUPER tired. Got to the gym, did KIND of a crappy workout then got on cardio and was gonna skimp out but I didn’t…because in the end I am only cheating myself. BTW got hit on again.. this is GREAT, but I will tell the story tomorrow.. I finished about 45min which I was only going to do 30 but more power to  me! Ended up meeting up with a friend and it lasted a bit long.. Did eat my carbs after my workout though and had just enough time to eat a chicken breast before bed. Took awhile to get to sleep but it was quality sleep, the sleep I DID get.. 🙂

Cant wait for another day 🙂 One step closer to my goal :):) Have about 3 and 1/2 weeks till I have to send in my money for comp!!!!! MEANS ITS GETTING CLOSERRRRR OMGGGGGGGGGG 🙂

Still need to find the bikini I want/the color I want… eeeeeeek.

I then did an exercise for my triceps (which I don’t know the name of).. you can use the lat pulldown bar though. Make sure your arms are shoulder width apart, straight elbows, keep core tight.

30-40lbs (I originally started with 40lbs each, but it got pretty heavy my first set, so I went back down to 30lbs) 3 sets total.

Today was sort of uneventful, but it was a great day for working out. I got 2 cardio sessions in =D However woke up did a pretty damn good arm work out, finished with cardio (45min). Went and ate, then played pool for an hour or 2. Ate again lol then finished hw while food digested, and finished another 45 min at about 630pm. Went to Jewel (picture not posted bc it didn’t load), but got MEAT to grill. And I grilled. All by myself. YUP! Went to bed at around 930pm, because I am such a good girl.

So that was my day. The song lyrics just described everything I was feeling.. and I am at lost for words. Today was an overall good day. I missed a meal, and that was my own fault. Pushed hard during my workout, and feel the desire for greatness again… now lets see how long I can keep the flame burning. Day 44 We can do anything we want to do if we stick to it long enough.

Wow… the days are just adding up eh?

But when I think about it, that’s like 6 weeks.. you would think ID BE COMPLETELY FLAWLESS BY NOW!!!!! haha… not exactly.  Sorry that’s my impatient rant of the day again.. I’M GETTING BETTER I PROMISE!! it takes time, and now the way I look at is, is these are the days of the rest of my life. I will never be over weight, uncomfortable ever again. I will be healthy from here on out :):):):)

Any who.. what do you think 4 weeks of straight binging would do to someone?

At THOUSANDS of calories a day?

Do you think the weight is just going to fall right off? Lol it takes time, and for someone like myself I should know this.. Starving yourself will only get you sicker, and mentally even worse, and throwing up , honestly I think the loss of then enamel on my teeth is because of throwing up for years (all the acid).. that and I have chronic acid reflux (actually had it as a baby) but it’s only gotten worse since throwing up (NO I do NOT throw up or starve myself anymore).

All this progress is healthy eating/living. So for any of you that say you wish you had my body, ext ext.. you can.

But will you sacrifice something for it? Desserts, sugar, simple carbs, fast food ext??

And there is where people tend to stop listening or asking questions 😉

Woke up super late this morning.

Mom was actually the one to wake me up.. and all I did was press snooze and I wake up 10 min before Im usually on the road.. no big deal I wasnt late or anything.. actually forgot to put my make up on. lol

Made a shake though.. running out of flavors to make..

1030am Had to run some errands. First when to ABT and saw that there was a red mango across the street. Ive never had red mango, but Ive sure as FUCK wanted it.. So I actually wait about 20 min in the car because it didn’t open till 11am.. (even though I found out they WERE open) haha.. I walk in and start asking so many questions the dude just hands me the nutrition book..

I was literally on the verge on leaving with out getting anything 😦 because he said there was added sugar. FUCK.

NOT COOL. but he said the vanilla one didn’t, and I saw that it only had about 12g of sugar. nbd 🙂 I got a little strawberry and not even a spoonful of dark chocolate bites.

Ate that on the road while I went to extreme graphics and picked up some shit that Ron ended up not even liking.. ol well.

1245pm Headed to Whole Foods after. Got 2 chicken breasts and some smoked almonds. Ate /2 of the chicken breast.

Just found out I received my financial aid, nothing what I thought I would get.. I think for the year I got 2000????????? UGHHH why do I always have to be stressed? Fine.. no big deal… I’ll just wait till tomorrow to have someone explain it to me.

Pretty simple today. Sorry going to be a boring blog post after all.. So about 430pm I ate another part of the chicken breast. Didn’t eat much because I was going to stay after work for tequila tuesday and was actually super pumped to stay..

530pm I realized Nikki was going to come and so it just so happened that Eric and I got into a little tiff.. He completely denies it, is actually taking nikki’s side. It was unbelievable. I have the ENTIRE convo on my phone between greg and i, greg and eric, and nikki and I. and THEY ARE STILL LYING ABOUT ITTTT!! and then I had to throw Mike in there because he was a witness and later after I left he told mike it never happened.. oh.. okay. 630pm Got home, traffic sucked. Walked Marley played with her a bit. Made ground turkey and onions, it was pretty good.

8-1am I went out. lol. and I NEVER go out. I didn’t even anything bad, but didn’t study like I wanted too.

Went to bed around 3am.

Didn’t work out today. Usually have Wednesdays off but I was SUPPOSE to study :/ lol..

Day 43 The only journey is the journey within.

 

745am Woke up kind of late, since I didn’t get to bed till 3am .

830am Whey vanilla Protein 2 pieces pineapple, small banana, 1 tb coconut oil and 1tb coconut shred, 1 cup coconut milk and ice cubes.

1230pm blackened chicken breast, with a few flaxseed (original flavor) cookies.

227pm Stomach is super hungry already 😦

and now that I think about it.. I have class at 650pm. Health and wellness actually. Pretty excited actually, but I don’t have anything to eat later.. I might have to stop home. BECAUSE I AM BBBBRRRRRROOOOOOOOKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE till tomorrow morning. 😦

Work is fine. Nothing to interesting going on. Feel a little uncomfortable. These jeans fit my ass but not my waist and I have to keep pulling them up and I look awkward. and I forgot to paint my toe nails. lol. whatever.

430-5pm Ate a chicken breast in the car ride home.

 

545pm Got home and walked Marley before I headed to class.

7pm It is actually a sports nutrition class which I AM SUPER STOKED ABOUT!!!!! Talks about what you should eat at what times, breaks everything down for you. As soon as he said macro nutrients and  I immediately thought about eating disorders and how I may get obsessed with it all again..(I did when I started weighing out portions for pre contest),  but this is stuff that people SHOULD know. What carbs to eat, complex or simple. What sugars to eat, what fats to eat and when because as we may NOT know, timing is very crucial during energy exertion.

9pm Class ended and I headed straight to the gym

I did this 3 times but I don’t know the weight, they weren’t numbered. 8-12 reps each.

Then I was getting sick and tired of retards staring at me.. (my pants may have been SLIGHTLY see thru).. Anywho..

Did 30 min on the stairmaster.

After that, I decided to go into the studio and do a little emore.

Lateral Raises

15lbs x 10reps (each arm)

Super Setted with either Bosu Ball Burpee (10) or ski jumps (20)

after 3 sets

Upright Row

25lbs x 12-15 reps

Super stetted with bosu burpees/ ski jumps.

NO planks today.. I was DRIPPPPPING sweat. Literally I couldn’t even see lol.. and I was super tired.. got home around 1030pm

 

1040pm 1/2 Chicken Breast and 1/2 Banana
