Β I am hosting a contest on behalf of a site called SlimKicker. Slimkicker is a calorie tracker and game that turns your diet/fitness goals into a level-up game with points and rewards. You rack up points by tracking healthy calories, and completing challenges such as quitting soda for a week. You upload a picture of a reward such as a cheat food, or iPod, and they’ll remind you to reward yourself with that reward as you reach a certain number of points. They have a large calorie count database with over 100,000 foods.

The contest will begin Monday September 10th at 10am and will end Sunday September 16th at 10pm.

Birthday Body!

So.. it’s 2 months till my birthday, and I think I am going to do a little 8 week “challenge“.
..considering it has officially been 4 weeks since my bikini competition and I look like I shouldn’t be in one, lol. I figured this is a great way to start contest prep (I will start training for competition the week after my birthday), but I want to feel fucking fantastic for my birthday πŸ™‚
..nothing too strenuous, nothing too life changing. Just a simple 8 week BIRTHDAY BODY challenge, YEP!!!
It will consist of:
1-2 cheat meals.
6 training days, 5 cardio days, and 1 off day.
1 yoga, 3x sauna.
A SHIT TON OF FUCKING WATER!
It will NOT consist of:
Added salt.
Added sugar.
Energy Drinks.
or Processed Foods (except Cheat Meals).
Pot Smoking <– (I KNOW!.. ugh!).
This is something that everyone can do. It’s simple yet SO effective. I took a before picture so I can track my progress. I don’t know if I’ll do a weekly progress shot but definitely before and after. Just watch what a few simple tricks can do for someone. Yes I am not “fat” or overweight by any means but 1. this will kick start ANY ones progress, and 2. you will feel fantastic! No joke.
The easiest thing to do is to just start by taking 1 thing away at a time. See how you adjust. See how you feel hour to hour, day to day. If you want to change your life, you have to understand it will NOT happen in a day. So take your time and be patient. If you want something enough, there will always be a way to get it.

Day 72 Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit.

Okay so I apologize that yesterdays (or what you got today) was pointless.. Mondays and Wednesdays are SUPER draining as it is, and then you add training and Β “dieting” and its like wtf. So I was having a semi nervous breakdown this morning (no thanks to my mother, but thats another time), and it seem to carry on to about mid morning. Stupid things were going wrong.. its like I couldn’t fully function lol. I am adding some more carbs (SLIGHTLY nothing drastic, just 1/4 c dry oats after a strenuous working).. I am realizing in class just how important they are, and how few weeks you should go without them. Now don’t get me wrong, I knew carbs (COMPLEX = GREAT CARBS), were good for you (just like GOOD FATS ARE TOO!!!!), but didn’t know how much. Now it does differ with everyone. Honestly, I could tell you what I do, and you guys read what I do, but everyone is different and may not work for you. You could be trying harder than I am and vice versa.. or I ate a few (shit ton) more almonds than you… lol.. there is always going to be different factors (even BMR lololol jk ill shut up now..), but in the end, I think the point is clear…

..GET MOVING AND QUIT EATING SHIT!

Guys sorry for all the rambling but since my instagram account is kinda blowing up a bit, I have been receiving a few questions (which is awesome obviously), but it’s simple and PLEASE do not get into all the equations and shananagins..Do you honestly think that Mcdonald’s is benefiting your weight loss goals? Do your part and make choices that will positively affect your life. You are what you eat remember.. Sorry.. I don’t want to be a piece of shit.

The Food Log

Β 830am Protein Shake (Dymatize, 1/2 water, 1/2 muscle egg, some PB2, ice)

1130am 10…turned into 12-14 almonds. lol (SEE extra calories..so I drank some tea and water a little longer for an actual meal because it seemed to have helped the cravings for food.

230pm Chicken Asparagus MUSTARD!!

505pm Chicken and Mustard and I think 10 more almonds lmfao… sorry.

9pm Protein Shake (Dymatize, Pb2, 1/4c oatmeal, ice) <– LOVE.

The Workout

Incline Chest Press (sat by the 2 cuter boys of the gym on accident).

Took 25’s started and had to put them back.. way to easy…

30 (wanted 35lbs but the whole stack of weights was empty :/)

Then I kind of stopped and looked around because EVERYTHING was taken… I decided that I was going to do triceps and chest (which WORKS out perfectly, because in most excerises you use the same muscles), but because I seemed to have lacked them last work out. So I was looking around and no chest or tricep machine was open.. okay so I was thinking of what to do to improvise, till I notice the free motion “ish” machine was open, and as I was walking up I thought someone said something and I looked back and it was the 2 cuties and he was like “oh, I didn’t say anything” and I apologized and then he asked if I was going to the machine (I was walking up too), and then asked if I wanted to super set with all of them. I don’t normally do that but it was awesome because he spotted me on a few I would have never of gotten. It felt AWESOME… but I have no one to lift with.. :/ lol anywho

1017am Woke up a little bit ago, took Marley to go potty. Waiting for home boy to wake up so we can take the children to the park.. lol.. (our dogs).. Haven;t eaten yet.. Maybe make eggs with ground turkey… I kind of want a carb, but maybe just a fruit..

1pm Took Marley to the park with Duece. They had a great time but it was SUPER fucking hot out.. and I was a little uncomfortable in my jeans.. but whatever..

3pm Lara Bar/ Flaxseed Raw cookies 1 scoop Tuna and ground turkey with some lite sour cream

Β Since it is the weekend I thought Id share about cheat meals and how to go about them.. You know how everyone eats really shitty and then praises themselves when they eat something healthy… like a piece of fruit? Well its like the opposite lol..

Cheat Meals:

To everyone who is dieting, making a lifestyle change, getting healthy:

Have a cheat meal. Meal, not a cheat day. A cheat meal could set you back a day or two at the gym (if blown a little out of proportion), a cheat day will set you back a week. When you think of it like that it usually doesn’t make the food that appealing to me, especially when you kill it in the gym and visualize it not even counting because you ate so much it would take you a whole nother work out to burn it off.. yeah…. no thanks.. I’ll just take an extra scoop of PB please…..

What do I mean by cheat?

A meal once a week (POSSIBLY 2 meals per week if you actually are TRYING to lose weight because that means you are working hard. As long as your moving and burning calories (calories in vs calories out) you’ll see results). I tell my clients to have whatever they want once or twice a week to throw off their bodies. Changes up metabolism, confuses the body makes it work harder to burn it off.. ext. But more importantly we live in a world where all we see is mcdonalds or BK on every damn corner, where when we go out we want to EAT and not constantly worry about what we are putting in our mouths. We want to enjoy food and all of its preparations.. It’s life.. and not all of us can be perfect and eat clean and whole or even want to for that matter.. I would rather my client be 75% healthy and 25% what they pleased (fast food, alcohol, life), then hunching over from cardiac arrest.

What can you have on a cheat meal?

Whatever your little heart desires. Try to keep it under 2000-1500 calories.

*I have gotten extremely sick from eating super clean and then eating something processed or with high amounts of sugar. Please be careful.

Do you need a cheat meal?

No you don’t. But a cheat meal doesn’t have to be something bad. I am not trying to condone mass quanities of donuts to be scarfed down or thinking its okay to waste calories carbs and sugars on an 8oz of Coke… all I am saying is have a meal where you sit down and think “not broccoli and chicken? Ill take it”.. lol

“Because excess is encouraged during cheat meals, they cannot be overused, or you’d never be in a caloric deficit, and thus defeat the purpose of the diet. If you’re one of those incredibly rare human beings with absolutely no desire to cheat, more power to you. But others should incorporate them to provide relief in three ways: psychological, physical and social.”

What are my cheat meals?

My “cheat meals” is actually just a lighter version of my day to day diet.. I may have fruit whenever I want it.. An extra black bean brownie..

Another Tablespoon of Peanut Butter or extra scoop of cashews..

Condiments (Lite sourcream, ketchup, bbq ext)

Guidelines or helpful hints- cheat meal

A MEAL. Carbs fats, desserts, fast food whatever you want.

Try to keep the calorie content down to about 1500.

Try to fill up on protein first.

Drink water.

Know that you will be bloated in the morning.

Know that you MAY become ill after the cheat meal (depending how hard you are dieting or changing your life.. I know that if I ate something high BAD fat or high BAD sugar Id be on the toilet for the rest of the day lol )

Try to work out before hand.

Enjoy yourself (but not too much).

** this has also started binges for me, especially when I was dieting for a bikini competition, so if you are STRONG ENOUGH to discipline yourself to just one meal please go ahead and enjoy yourself.. but if you are having trouble take each day as they come. But when I would go weeks without any carbs and something looked really look at a weak part of time (also known as a trigger) I would eat myself through THOUSANDS OF CALORIES PEOPLE. THOUSANDS!! My mom can’t believe how I am not 200lbs.. Honestly.. I was probably close.. 160.. 165.. probably even heavier. Which is disgusting. And more so disgusting because it was ruining my life..

But this is why I choose my cheat meals to still be organic/ still healthy for me.. I was addicted to sugar and those binges were so bad I couldnt/didnt stop ( AGAIN, remember I have suffered years of eating disorders NOT everyone has..) But for all of my clients I tell them to have a meal once or twice.. and if they didn’t want one that was cool too more power to them.. but usually something comes up (like a sudden dinner, or someone baked you a cupcake IDK W/E), its life.. lol.. but don’t be meticulous about it.. if you have more then you thought you would have..big deal.. start again tomorrow. πŸ™‚

5pm LA FitnessΒ Bi’s and Tri’s

Started with BB Bicep Curls supersetted with Hammer Curls till Fail

40lbs x 12 reps / 15lbs (each hand) x till fail
40lbs x 10reps / 15lbs x till fail
50lbs x 8 reps / 15lbs x till fail
50lbs x 7 reps / 15lbs x till fail

Moved to Close Grip Bench press supersetted with BW bench dips

Bar x 15 reps/ BW x 8 reps
Bar x 15 reps/ BW x 8 reps
Bar x 12 reps/ BW x 10 reps
Bar x 12 reps/ BW x 8 reps

I did a cable curl and another excersie I can’t think of the name, but I also completely forget I did this so I am going to keep pretending I didn’t lol.

Moved to another cable curl (this time it was lower not a higher bicep curl) with a tricep pushdown.. Forgot the reps on this too, but know that the tricep pushdown I can go REAL heavy with.. Yet my arms are my weakest point.. hmmm

Any who, then did 5 Minutes of Planks

and ended with 30 min on 10-14 (incline). πŸ™‚

7pm Went to Jewel to get dinner.

730-8pm Made and ate dinner. Steak Corn and Asparagus. See that corn was technically a cheat for me πŸ™‚ I may also go have some pineapple in a bit πŸ™‚ Im glad my mom cut it for me because I hate cutting pineapple.

So its about 9pm now.. Laying in bed gathering pictures and updating blogs and sending out emails.. I need to finish and call H&R block tomorrow so I can finally get my taxes done.

I did munch on flaxseed raw cookies (the chocolate flavor bc the ginger ones suck dick) and I think its messing with my stomach… Its ALL fucked up.. 😦 and Ive been getting the heart burn/acid reflux a lot lately.. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder what that means.. I only eat so many things I wonder if I could figure this all out..

Well everyone enjoy your st patricks day!! I am going to relax a bit and get some rest.. pretty tired lately but super excited with how everything is coming along… I don’t think Ill be impatient anymore, give me 2 weeks I will probably completely have my abs in which will be SICK :):)

1130am About to have a chicken breast, cant really go to whole foods right now because I just spent an hour dealing with Secretary of State, and calling like 478329 court houses. There is A LOT of districts LOL.. but with my investigation skills GOT THAT SHIT ON LOCK! haha

have until the 28th to pay it. WHICH IS AWESOME! and it didn’t double, and Im pretty sure it is not going to suspend my license. I was on supervision in 2010, and its a year from the last ticket πŸ™‚ WA BAM! Just means I cant speed anymore. Okay I mean I can’t get caught anymore.

So that just took a HUGE weight off my shoulder πŸ™‚

and I feel good. I am still impatient and really want to be able to wear all my cute clothes without having to worry about my muffin top :/ It’s only a matter of time though πŸ™‚
I can’t believe how GOOD I have been on my diet. 4 weeks down baby!!!!!! So excited.. and I’m only looking better each day.

241pm Ate my chicken like an hour ago ish. I am actually super hungry. Ive only had my shake the chicken breast and a handful (or two ) raw almonds. I like completely missed a meal. Going to Whole Foods before class.. I’m gonna to need some snacks..

Kinda in a weird mood. my pants are see thru.. so I found out by the guys. I am hungry. Don’t feel fat or anything but my boss just makes you wonder how you can be so rude and say the things he says.

1104pmΒ I’m fucking exhausted. I am going to publish this tomorrow morning.. so I can add pictures and shit because I DOUBT ill do it tonight. However..Here is a little recap.

430pm I went to whole foods because I needed food for class.. I really was going to only buy my chicken breast and an almond butter packet or two… But first I saw the chia seeds and the hemp hearts.. but no price tag so I asked the guy where the seeds were sitting if he could look it up for me.. the chia seeds came out to be 8.99 and the hemp was $6 maybe? I am not quite sure but it wasn’t HALF as bad as I thought.

I ended up spending $80. FML. lol.. my chicken alone was like 20 bucks though.. but I have enough for 2 days.. I also got these super cookies. THAT EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO AND GET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I originally got the pizza flavor and so I thought those were pretty good and saw today what flavors they have.. I can’t remember all of them so I am going to look them up and post them but I got Lemon and chocolate and holy fucking hell.

THEY ARE D E L I C I O U S ! oh man. Completely addicted.. UH oh.. lol.

5pm I ate my chicken breast in the car. again. like a dumb dumb.

So a little late for class but got started and it actually wasn’t a bad class. He didn’t say too much that offended me or pissed me the fuck off.. cept I did think he said “those homos” oh okay.. nbd.

Anywho I snacked on edamame and the flax cookies during class.. It was a nice snack. πŸ™‚

Came home and didn’t have much to eat. I had like 1/4 piece of chicken, and a pickle lol. and now I am going to sleep.. told you I wasn’t going to publish it tonight. 😦 Maybe Ill wake up early πŸ™‚ I only really need about 15 minutes just to add the pictures I took. I do think I want to start ending the blog with a breakdown of what I ate.. Instead of having to read the entire thing.. even though I WANT you to read it lol maybe it’ll be easier to get an idea of what I eat everyday and at what time.. Food for thought.. I don’t know yet… Maybe Ill try it and see how it looks lol.. tomorrow though.

Alright.. OH btw.. learning about disorders in psych today… mental disorders eating disorders, so it’s nice to actually care about what the teacher is trying to teach you. I am super interested and really do want to learn more about this kind of stuff. Hopefully next week Ill have a better understanding of how these disorders are developed and so forth..
